AI Insights
Get AI-powered recommendations to improve your link performance and campaigns
Overview
GrowQR AI Insights uses machine learning and large language models to analyze your link performance data and surface actionable recommendations automatically. Instead of manually digging through analytics dashboards to find patterns, AI Insights does the heavy lifting — identifying trends, detecting anomalies, suggesting optimizations, and predicting future performance based on historical data.
AI Insights operates across your entire workspace, analyzing links, campaigns, conversion funnels, and A/B test results to provide a holistic view of what's working, what's not, and what you should do next. Recommendations are delivered as plain-language cards in the dashboard, each with a clear action you can take.
What Problem It Solves
Data is only useful if you act on it, and most marketing teams are drowning in dashboards but starving for insights. Knowing that your click-through rate dropped 15% last week is one thing; understanding why it dropped and what to do about it is another. The gap between data and action is where campaigns stall and budgets get wasted.
GrowQR AI Insights bridges this gap by continuously monitoring your data, applying statistical analysis and AI reasoning, and translating findings into recommendations your team can act on immediately. It's like having a data analyst who watches every metric 24/7 and taps you on the shoulder when something needs attention.
How It Works
AI Insights runs on a combination of statistical models and LLM-powered analysis:
- Data aggregation — GrowQR collects click, conversion, funnel, and A/B test data from your workspace into a unified analytics store.
- Pattern detection — Statistical models scan for significant changes: sudden traffic spikes or drops, conversion rate shifts, unusual geographic patterns, and seasonal trends.
- Anomaly flagging — When a metric deviates significantly from its historical baseline, the system flags it as an anomaly and investigates potential causes.
- LLM analysis — A large language model reviews flagged patterns alongside your campaign context (names, tags, dates, channels) to generate human-readable explanations and recommendations.
- Insight delivery — Insights are presented as prioritized cards in the AI Insights dashboard, each categorized by type and urgency.
Insights are regenerated daily and on-demand. You can also trigger a fresh analysis at any time by clicking Refresh Insights.
Step-by-Step Usage
Accessing AI Insights
Navigate to Dashboard → AI Insights to see your insight feed. Insights are displayed as cards, sorted by priority (Critical → High → Medium → Low).
Each insight card contains:
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | A concise summary of the finding |
| Category | Performance, Anomaly, Optimization, Trend, or Content |
| Priority | Critical, High, Medium, or Low |
| Affected Asset | The link, campaign, or funnel the insight relates to |
| Analysis | A plain-language explanation of what the AI found |
| Recommendation | A specific, actionable suggestion |
| Supporting Data | Charts or metrics that back up the insight |
Performance Recommendations
Performance insights identify opportunities to improve click-through rates, conversion rates, and overall campaign ROI. Examples include:
- "Your email links consistently outperform social links by 2.3x on conversion rate. Consider increasing email frequency or testing new social creative."
- "Links shared between 10am–12pm in the recipient's timezone get 34% more clicks than links shared in the afternoon. Adjust your send schedule."
- "Campaign 'Summer Sale' has the highest cost-per-conversion. The landing page bounce rate for mobile visitors is 78% — consider a mobile-optimized variant."
Each recommendation links directly to the relevant analytics view so you can verify the data and take action.
Anomaly Detection
The anomaly detection engine monitors every metric in your workspace and alerts you when something unexpected happens:
- Traffic spikes — "Your link
growqr.io/blog-postreceived 5x its normal daily traffic yesterday. The spike originated from a Reddit post linking to your content." - Traffic drops — "Click volume on campaign 'Q1 Webinar' dropped 60% today compared to the 7-day average. Verify that the links are still active and destination pages are loading correctly."
- Conversion anomalies — "Conversion rate for the 'Free Trial' goal dropped from 4.2% to 1.8% over the past 3 days. This may indicate a broken sign-up flow or a change in traffic quality."
- Geographic shifts — "Traffic from India increased 400% this week without a corresponding campaign. Investigate whether this is organic growth or bot traffic."
Anomaly alerts are prioritized as Critical when they affect revenue-generating links or high-traffic campaigns.
Content Suggestions
AI Insights analyzes your highest-performing links and campaigns to suggest content and messaging improvements:
- Custom alias suggestions — "Links with descriptive aliases (e.g.,
/spring-sale) get 28% more clicks than auto-generated ones. Consider updating these 5 links with readable slugs." - UTM improvements — "12 links in campaign 'Product Launch' are missing
utm_medium. Adding this parameter would improve attribution accuracy." - Tag recommendations — "You have 47 untagged links. Suggested tags based on destination URL patterns:
blog,product,support."
Trend Analysis
Trend insights look at longer-term patterns across weeks and months:
- Seasonal patterns — "Your click volume peaks in the first week of each month, likely driven by newsletter sends. Consider aligning campaign launches with this natural traffic cycle."
- Channel evolution — "Social media's share of your total clicks has grown from 18% to 31% over the past quarter, while email has declined from 45% to 33%. Investigate whether email engagement is declining or social is growing independently."
- Conversion trends — "Your average time-to-convert has decreased from 4.2 days to 2.1 days over the past 60 days, suggesting your audience is moving through the funnel faster. Consider shortening your attribution window to match."
Trend cards include mini sparkline charts showing the metric's trajectory over time.
Acting on Insights
Each insight card has action buttons:
- View Details — Opens the full analytics view for the affected asset.
- Dismiss — Removes the insight from the feed (useful for known issues or accepted risks).
- Snooze — Hides the insight for a configurable period (1 day, 1 week, 1 month).
- Create Task — Generates a follow-up task in your workspace to ensure the recommendation is acted upon.
Dismissed and snoozed insights are accessible in the History tab if you need to revisit them.
Best Practices
- Check AI Insights at the start of each workday. Treat it like your morning briefing. Critical insights may require immediate action (e.g., a broken link or a conversion drop).
- Act on high-priority insights within 48 hours. Insights lose value quickly — a traffic anomaly on Monday is less actionable on Friday.
- Use insights to drive A/B tests. When AI Insights suggests a change (e.g., "mobile visitors convert poorly"), don't just implement the fix — run an A/B test to validate the improvement.
- Don't dismiss anomalies too quickly. Even if a traffic spike seems benign, investigate the source. Unexpected traffic can indicate content going viral (an opportunity) or bot activity (a data quality issue).
- Share insights with your team. Use the Export or Share button to send relevant insights to stakeholders. AI-generated explanations save you the effort of writing up findings manually.
- Provide feedback on insights. Rate insights as helpful or not helpful using the thumbs-up/thumbs-down buttons. This feedback trains the system to prioritize the types of insights your team finds most valuable.
Example Workflows
Morning Performance Check
- Open Dashboard → AI Insights at the start of your day.
- Review any Critical or High priority cards.
- A Critical anomaly reports that conversion rate for "Free Trial" dropped overnight — the sign-up page is returning a 500 error.
- Click View Details, confirm the issue in the conversion timeline, and escalate to engineering.
- Snooze the insight for 1 day while the fix is deployed. Re-check tomorrow to confirm recovery.
Campaign Optimization Cycle
- Launch a new campaign with links across email, social, and paid channels.
- After 7 days, open AI Insights filtered to this campaign.
- An optimization insight suggests: "Paid search links have a 0.8% conversion rate versus 3.2% for email. The paid traffic is predominantly mobile, but the landing page is not mobile-optimized."
- Create a mobile-optimized landing page variant and set up an A/B test for paid search traffic.
- After the A/B test concludes, AI Insights generates a follow-up: "The mobile-optimized variant increased paid search conversion rate from 0.8% to 2.6%. Consider making this the default."
Quarterly Business Review Preparation
- Set the date range to the past quarter.
- Switch to the Trends tab to see long-term patterns.
- Export the top 10 trend insights as a PDF report.
- The report highlights that social channel contribution grew 72% quarter-over-quarter and identifies the three campaigns that drove the most conversions.
- Present these AI-generated findings in the QBR, supplemented with your team's strategic context.
